Purge

Purge: Game feature where players can eliminate any player in the game, including their target.

  • There are 3 types of purges: Automatic Purge, Manual Purge, and Purge Activated By Inventory Item.
  • During a purge in a team game, players get the chance to eliminate anyone other than their teammates.
  • If a player eliminates someone during a purge and wants to upload the elimination after the purge has ended, Admin(s) can allow this by temporarily turning on Open Eliminations.

Automatic Purge: When on, an Automatic Purge will occur at the end of the round. When off, no purge will occur automatically at the end of the round.

  • If Automatic Purge is turned on during a round, the change will not take effect until the next round.

Manual Purge: Type of purge that can be manually turned on by admins at any time during the game.

  • In settings, press Call Purge to start the purge, and End Now to end the purge.
  • Manually triggered purges can occur both inside and outside of a round.
  • Admins can set the length of a Manual Purge, which can not overlap with an Automatic Purge or extend from one round to the next.

Purge Activated By Inventory Item: Item that allows players to activate a 6 hour long purge in the game.

  • Purges can only be activated by admins UNLESS a player has a Purge item in their inventory.
  • After a player uses the Purge item from their inventory, there is a 5 minute delay before it takes effect.
  • Once a Purge initiated using the Purge inventory item is in effect, the Purge will last 6 hours.
  • If a Purge initiated using the Purge inventory item is activated with less than 6 hours left in the round, the Purge will only last to the end of the round.
  • A Purge can be purchased from the Shop for 1000 points in Battle Royale and 600 points in Blitz, or it can be picked up by players if an admin drops a Purge on the map.

Automatic Purge Length: Controls length of an Automatic Purge.

  • Automatic Purge Length is only available when Automatic Purge is on.
  • If Automatic Purge Length is changed during a round, the change will not take effect until the next round.
  • If anAutomatic Purge is active and an admin ends the round, the Automatic Purge will end.

Purge Safety: When on, players who eliminate their target BEFORE the purge in a given round are granted Purge Safety and CAN NOT be eliminated during the purge. When off, all players are eligible to be eliminated during the purge.

  • Players who eliminate their target DURING the purge are not granted Purge Safety.
  • In a team game, players must eliminate the entire team they are targeting during the round to obtain Purge Safety.
  • Players who obtain Purge Safety are still able to eliminate other players during the purge.
  • If a purge is called outside of a round, no players will be safe.
  • If a player has not eliminated any targets in a given round and their current target is marked safe, that player will not be eligible for Purge Safety.
  • Bounties are not eligible for Purge Safety.
